That’s an interesting and tough one!!

Most of us have been exposed to EMF’s for so long it’s virtually indistinguishable from other any other conditions. And most of the symptoms overlap with a lot of autoimmune conditions and FMS.

You would have basically have to remove smart devices, halt use of heating pads and most red light and infrared products, turn off WIFI, not use appliances, and anything that produces EMFs for an extended period of time to know with any certainty how it affects you.
You could employ an EMF shield, but anything that truly blocks them is probably out of range for most people.
And those are just the controllable variables, some people live in hot spots. 😅

My only personal experience is noting the difference when camping. I don’t bring any devices. And I do notice a big difference, but less screen time and nature have such huge impacts on our mental and physical health.

There was a show years back, maybe on Netflix, featuring people with rare conditions. This was one of them.
Another was someone with a chemical sensitivity, which I remember you mentioning.

Are you thinking of trying to reduce EMF’s to see if your symptoms improve? 💛

So true what wRen2 said. I don't know if applies to what you're talking about but stay away from soda drinks like Coca-Cola especially, Pepsi. I drank a Coke about 20 years ago and I that night I felt an electric current coming out of my head. I have not touched it since. It's wicked stuff.

Do others with fibromyalgia experience sensitivity to electromagnetic frequencies?

While the search results don't specifically mention electromagnetic frequency sensitivity, they do note that fibromyalgia can make you more sensitive to various environmental factors. Many people with fibromyalgia report increased sensitivity to bright light, noise, and temperature changes.

Fibromyalgia affects how your brain and spinal cord process signals, which could potentially contribute to heightened sensitivity to different stimuli in your environment. Since fibromyalgia is a central nervous system disorder, it impacts how your body perceives and responds to various sensory inputs.

If you're experiencing what feels like sensitivity to electromagnetic frequencies, it's worth discussing with your healthcare provider. They can help determine if this is related to your fibromyalgia or if there might be other factors at play.

You're definitely not alone in experiencing unusual sensitivities with fibromyalgia - many members report various environmental triggers that affect their symptoms.
