I find a good mildly challenging walk in the countryside. I don’t have the the exhaustion and extent of the muscle pains i do when I’ve had a proper gym like work out. I find it best to start steady and build it up gradually over time.
I used a stationary, recumbent cross-trainer bike 30 minutes a day 6 days a week. I like the cross trainer because I can work my arms and legs.
