Beautiful thoughts ..
Yes, we have so much to be thankful for; sometimes we just have to look a little harder!
Happy New Year❤️
Love,
Deb 😘
Hibernation is good thing when I'm watching the snow falling from my cozy warm home. I love the way it sparkles at night and it's so peaceful and quiet. When I was young ,I used to stand outside in the snow and just enjoy the quiet beauty of the night. Then I'd come inside and warm up under a soft blanket with a cup of hot cocoa. It couldn't get any better! That is one of my many precious memories that keeps me going. I feel fortunate to be able to remember them so clearly at 84. It's a real blessing that fibro didn't steal from me. I have a friend that has dementia and is in a wheelchair. I saw her a few days ago and she looked at me with frightened eyes, trying so hard to recognize me. Her husband let out a deep exhausted sigh like many caregivers do. I spoke a few words and then they moved on. With tears in my eyes, I realized I wouldn't trade places with her even with all the pain I endure. I thought of all the people I see when I'm out or watching TV and seeing our brave wounded vets and sick little kids, I wouldn't trade my life for theirs. It's hard to believe that anything could be worse than fibro---but it can. So for 2026 I'm thinking about all the fibro warriors and others who are suffering and hoping we all have a better year and never give up hope. Sending a Happy New Year hug to you all with love.
I have been walking every day but finding time for reading and relaxing. Doing a few things around the house but I have to get back to going through things.
Crocheting, doing exercises for recovery from knee surgery, watching 90s sitcoms, sleeping, small projects to get caught up on housework.
I’m Hybernating. My daughter is here for a few days to detox from the mold in her house. She’ll be going back today. Then she’ll probably be back in a few days.. It’s been great to visit and laugh with her. Take a walk.
It’s chilly today so I don’t feel like going out. Yesterday I washed my sheets. So today, I’ll probably get my bedroom vacuumed. I have leftover dinner that I made yesterday. Hugs, 🩵Victoria
