😁 I use a monthly injection to PREVENT migraines and rarely get one anymore. I get about 4/wk without Aimovig 🥴

I was absolutely desperate for any help last July.
I was in so much pain with Fibro, and extremely ill after chicken pox and very depressed and anxious.. I didn't know how I could carry on. I had an extremely ill husband all at the same time!

Yes, I had terrible side effects for a week but I had to stick with it. I'm glad I did.

We all react differently to medication, and we all have our different ways of coping with what life throws at us. I chose to take it and I am so glad I did, even though I am still ill with Fibro, I have learnt to cope better with the pain..😊

So here's an update: the pain doctor gave me Gabapentin 300 mg 3 times a day. I really like it. Today it knocked out a migraine and really severely lowered any pain. I am taking this dose for 2 months then he will bump it up to 600 mg 3 times a day. I'm very satisfied.

P.S. I had perfect hearing until after menopause. It seems like after menopause various illnesses that your family had kick in. At least that's what happened in my case..

I only had Botox 1 time so far and that was less than 2 weeks ago. Too soon to tell. Also I just got approved for Ubrelvy through AbbVie and waiting for it to come.
