I'm on the max of anything that I can be on. I tried the lowest dose of an anti inflammatory but it caused severe kidney pain after just 1 day
I'm on morphine but it isn't as helpful as anti inflammatories were.
I found nettle leaf was amazing and really helped - but because there was calcium in them I couldn't take it as I have hypoparathyroidism. So
I need to

Members shared compassionate suggestions for managing severe pain without traditional anti-inflammatories after kidney complications, with many recommending natural alternatives like turmeric, CBD, magnesium, omega fatty acids, and mushroom coffee as gentler options that have helped reduce inflammation without harsh side effects. Several members mentioned specific supplements such as Zyflamend, SPM Active from Metagenics, and anti-inflammatory foods like tomatoes and fatty fish, while others shared their own experiences navigating similar medication restrictions due to lung disease, GERD, or kidney concerns. A recurring theme was the importance of consulting with a nephrologist or specialist before trying new supplements, especially given the complex interactions with kidney function and conditions like hypoparathyroidism that limit calcium and vitamin D intake.

Oddly as it sounds... mushroom coffee. I was on anti inflammatory meds for a couple of years and I started to develop GERD and gallstones, so I stopped taking them all together. I always say to go the natural route if you are willing. Far less side effects and much healthier.

Im super new to this but I've turned to the garden on top of medicinal care. Tomatoes have excellent anti-inflammatory properties as well as fatty fish like tuna. Maybe add some omega vitamins? Idk. Just off the top of my head.

I forgot about them and I found one last night and I still had called Valor. I rubbed it into the bottom of my feet and it really helped me sleep better. You'll have to Google which ones are used for inflammation. The body likes nature more than side effect Pharmaceuticals.

I don't know if it's too late to try essential oils for you but You might want to look into some really potent essential oils. Yes, Young Living Essential Oils are expensive but some of them are very amazing. I'm not talking about the cheap essential oils.
