My ears have played up for months. Ear ache. Loss of hearing. Constant itching. Soreness occasional fluid leaks from them. I have been seen by various people. No wax. I have tried all sorts of treatment including antibiotics. On a fifteen month waiting list to see a consultant. I could lose my hearing by then. Anyone had any success with this type of problem?

I had an inner ear infection a few years ago. The doctor told me to use saline nasal drops. If you can, lay on the bed with your head hanging over the side a little or hold your head back. You spray the drops in your nose on the side of the affected ear.and let the drops run thru the eustachian tube into your ear. Do it once or twice a day until you feel some improvement. This works great on airplane flights for anyone who gets ear pain when flying and landing.
Peter, I had thought of suggesting hydrogen peroxide, but couldn't remember the dosage. Here is a link that may help you :https://eyeandear.org.au/patients-visitors/fact.... Just make sure it is 3% or even 6%. I used to use 6% for ear problems and it worked fine - used it on both my girls when they were school age. Once again, try it and see.

I have ear, head, neck pain. Nothing shows up. That’s when I went to holistic medicine. I get shots behind my ear, trigger points on neck and shoulders. It does help.
