Members warmly supported someone navigating adhesions after a C-section and a potential endometriosis diagnosis, with many affirming that endometriosis commonly develops along scar tissue and can explain symptoms like leg pain and bowel issues. Several members shared practical insights, including that gynecologists often perform a procedure called freeing of adhesions, that laparoscopy can provide definitive answers, and that treatment options like a coil can eliminate periods and manage symptoms effectively. A recurring theme was the importance of self-advocacy, trusting your instincts about your own body, and pushing for further investigation when something feels wrong.

Good luck Lucy . I have endometriosis I complained to my dr for 2/3 years heavy periods lots of pain & bowel problems IBS they treated me for until I was nearly passing out!. I request a laparoscopy so they could check internally.
Yes I had endo but unfortunately so many adhesions pelvic and my bowel was stuck to my abdomen 😡 hence bowel problems.
The surgeon was very good removed them and I had a coil fitted no problems since, no periods and only the odd polyps or cyst removed but once you’re under gynea they are very fast at seeing you. Hope you get on ok at your appointment and remember you know your own body like I did if you feel somethings not right then push for further investigations. x

The gynecologist most likey do an operation call freeing of adhesion. It doesn't necessarily mean you have endometriosis. So glad you are getting answers. ❤

Very possible. Endometriosis is common along scar tissue and after surgeries.

Hoping you get some answers soon! Keep us posted.

If that is the case it could account for things you’ve mentioned previously, such as leg pain.

Sending big hugs. 💜
