That's hard Janice. It must be in association with bad experiences or memories. Our bodies absorb the adverse things we face but doesn't forget. It must be a protection thing. To keep us away from that situation happening again.

Yes. Before my diagnosis, I could not understand why I was sensitive to odors. Some odors, such as outdoor foliage, musky, and certain perfumes, make me nauseous. When I covered my nose, people would get offended. However, I never knew the sense of smell is a symptom of fibromyalgia.
I work at a hospital so you can imagine the range of odors there but people aren't allowed to wear perfume. When it's overcast outside you can smell smoke from far distant wildfires and maybe any discharge from lumber and OSB mills up the valley.
