Members widely confirmed experiencing collapses and falls related to fibromyalgia, describing symptoms that range from sudden weakness and dizziness to legs giving out, often requiring immediate sitting or lying down to avoid injury. Several members shared that extreme temperatures, hot flashes, and pushing themselves too hard can trigger these episodes, with some now relying on walkers or other mobility aids to stay safe. A recurring theme was the importance of listening to your body's warning signs, being cautious in public spaces, and giving yourself permission to rest before a fall happens.

If I’m on public transit like the subway, I have fallen a couple of times. Never used to.
