Yes to both. Certain noises such as whistling actually hurts, like a physical pain. I know that sounds weird, but other sounds will do the same thing. I know I mention this to others and they don't have a clue on what I am talking about. Eyes are the same way, very sensitive to different kinds of light. I also am very sensitive to smells. I am so sorry to hear you also have this. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers my fibro sister. Oh, and BTW I love the gumby, lol. My dogs have a giant size one for one of their toys they just love it.

Yes. Noise, smells, and sounds all bother me. Do food smells bother you? Also, nothing really tastes good to me. Don't know if that is from fibromyalgia.

I'm sensitive to both also. Can't wait to get back home where it's quiet & I can control the lights. Some lights on TV can be actually painful to look at & I have to close my eyes. Hate the strobe lights.

You may want to try some ear plugs from loop to lessen the volume around you, or some similar product.
