Traveling Overseas
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Please, anyone, I need to desperately know if we can travel in the states by plane ✈️ or cross that wonderful Atlantic to go to Britain. 🇬🇧 Travel was one of my main joys.

I have travelled all over the world. You have to really knpw ypur body. I get rest on the plane. I also do some leg exercises...streyches to help my legs to not freeze up. The day after we arrive is a rest day except for a walk. Walking helps me alot. Make sure you take your pain meds on the day of your trip. Stay hydrated. Those are some of the things my body has needed over my travels. I have been to Turkey, Egypt, the Carribean and next week week we will be returning to Hawaii. Best wishes!

Donna, thank you so much for your answer. What a brilliant traveller you are. What a positive note. I just feel I have to stay in the US for now. This diagnosis has thrown me for a loop since Sept. I feel better than I have in years, taking Cymbalta, once I was diagnosed. Just need to be cautious for now.
