I’m constantly tired, have very little energy started a low impact workout I can do from home but it’s even hard to get started. I get a constant set of ads for different natural supplements but nothing I’ve tried has really made a difference.
@A MyFibroTeam Member, for breakfast, 1) eggs, beans and a meat 2) oatmeal, walnuts, berries, peanut butter toast. Throughout the day I snack on mixed nuts (whatever you like), protein bar or shake. Spring salad with veggies, boiled egg, chicken or ham, and the usual dinner, protein, veggies, carbohydrates. Once you get into the habit, it basically just becomes normal to refuel every couple of hours.
How much protein do you eat daily?
We process protein at a higher rate than healthy people, that’s why we are so fatigued, we’re always running on empty. Try eating or drinking 20 grams of protein every 2-3 hours, 100 grams daily.
Every day right after getting up I take vitamins and minerals with a sip of Pepsi and water. My list of supplements: Omega 3-6-9, Vit B, Vit E + C + D3 + Zinc + COQ10. About a 1/2 hour before I go to sleep I also take a 5HTP capsule. I eat two meals a day. Breakfast is usually a bowl of Jordan's cereal with chocolate buds. Lunch is only several glasses of juice and perhaps a cookie or couple of crackers. Dinner/supper is the main meal and I try to eat it early i.e. by 5:00 p.m. It usually consists of something with a bit of meat in it i.e. a piece of meat pie or pizza or perhaps a piece of quiche + olives, sliced tomatoes or pickled beets or cabbage salad than for dessert a small bowl of fruits such as a banana, apple, raspberries & etc with plain yogurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. My drink is fruit juice i.e. mango, papaya, pineapple, apple cider, grape juice . . . I do enjoy several cups of coffee during the day too . . . .
I drink coffee but get sooo fatigued mid day so i have an energy drink. No sugar, no crash but it helps BUT dont drink it to late or you wont sleep.
Probably not enough usually just at lunch and dinner I usually skip breakfast. I’m try that what do you usually eat and drink to get your protein in?
