Are Showers Painful?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve seen several posts where warm or hot showers are recommended for pain relief. I sometimes experience extreme pain from a shower - to the point of tears and I have a high pain tolerance. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, at times. The water
touching my skin can hurt so bad, especially when I'm in a flare.😩

Yes, in the past. I've adjusted the flow to where it's not such a strong flow, more like a sprinkle than bitingly harsh. Maybe try an adjustable shower head.

omg, yes the water touching my skin feels so bad and the pain of getting thru the shower is so bad, i cry also. I have decided to get a walk in tub . easy to get into and i think sitting in warm water might help .
