Ya'll... I dont know what is going on lately, but my memory is SHOT! I'm losing my phone, my keys, my everything in the house! I forgot certain words, celebrities names, basic stuff that I should be able to remember. Please tell me that in my 30s I'm not like getting some dementia or some thing that this is part of fibromyalgia. Anybody else losing their minds?

Members reassured someone in their 30s experiencing severe memory problems that fibro fog is a real and common symptom of fibromyalgia, not early-onset dementia, with many describing similar struggles like forgetting words, misplacing items, and even losing track of whether they had already showered. Several members shared that fibro fog tends to worsen with poor sleep or increased stress, and practical coping strategies included using sticky notes everywhere, keeping a sense of humor about the lapses, and trying to go with the flow during particularly foggy periods. A recurring theme was the relief members felt knowing they were not alone or losing their minds, balanced with frustration over yet another debilitating symptom that fibromyalgia brings into their daily lives.

Yes, I've noticed memory problems too. It's definitely worse when my insomnia is bad or when I have more stress than usual in my life.

Yes, it is a Fibro thing. I was convinced something was going wrong and went to my doctor. She performed simple tests and reassured me that I wasn’t losing my mind. I have to keep a sense of humor during these periods. I’m afraid I think they are more funny than my daughter.

For me I thinks it’s a combination of fibromyalgia fog and long Covid. Yes at times it gets frustrating. Since, I was diagnosed I try and go with the flow. God bless heather. Hope things get better for ya.
