I was referred to a pain clinic because I cannot tolerate pain medications long term. They have helped me understand the concept of chronic pain and ways of dealing with it through pain science, mindfulness, exercise etc. I also did a lot of my own research through u tube videos and articles, some suggested by the clinic. I also find cold showers helpful.

I don’t blame you! I wish they had a doctor that knew how to deal with this. Nobody really knows, it’s a hit and miss ‼️‼️

I have, all he did was do injections and see me again in a week or two. I got tired of that.

Unfortunately I can’t go back . In a year supposedly you are not allowed to have more than 3 shots of cortisone. I had one each month and they did help but now I have to wait and I am back to excruciating pain.

I fired my last 2 because they didn't believe that fibro is real.
