Whenever I fold clothes it feels as though my shoulders and arms are going to fall off shortly after I start. My arms and shoulders feel as if I am lifting weights. Also when I am walking my hips hurt so bad.
I do. I just pace myself until the task is done. All the best.
Yes, I have chronic muscle fatigue. While walking I know I can't take another step and have to stop. I rest for a minute or so and continue on. It's the same way with my arms also.
When my husband retired 11 years ago I stop ironing. For 32 years I ironed 10 dress shirts weekly. He kept extras at the office in case of spills, and spill he did.
My dryer is on top and the washer is a top load. I didn't think that I was going to be able to deal with bending over for much longer when we purchased them about 4 years ago.
I've seen pedestals for washers and dryers to elevate them somewhat. Don't know if that's a solution for you.
It hurts when I reach up to get something. Also, my left side is weak, so if I'm lifting something from a shelf to bring down, my left arm shakes. Walking can be a challenging most times if I'm walking for a period of time. If my lower back is hurting, it is horrible to walk.
Yes, and when I reach a top shelf to get something itβs very uncomfortable. Also mixing cookie batter and making meatballs.
