@A MyFibroTeam Member Yes, my relatives used to live in SF and I quite familiar with all those steps! Anyway, just want to say I am scheduled to get lumbar MRI and x-rays of the lumbar and AP/LAT soon as well as the left hip and thoracic spine. Anyway, I think this is the last time I am going to do this. I have countless MRI's that were taken 2019 and before but I don't want surgery if I can help it but we will see what this new doc says. The sciatic/hip low back on both sides bothers me so much that I only get 4 hours max sleep per night before I have to get up. The lumbar microdisectomy (sp) in 2015 made everything worse. Yes, I tried gabapentin but I can't take it. Even a low dose turns me into walking and acting like a drunk person and it also affects my mood badly. I am glad others can take it but I have not found anything except for an occasional xanax or norco (they cannot be taken at the same time) (lowest 1/2 dosage). I do countless stretches and some yoga postures that I can still do.
Yes, it got so bad, we had to move! Now on one level..
Yes, I have trouble with the stairs, but at 84 I guess everyone does !!!!!!! I am OK if I hold on to the railing. I don't walk very far either as my balance is bad. I've spent so much time of the years with balance testing, and training, to no avail !! I also had to sell my house as I had some tile floors that did in my legs !!

I do! It hurts my knees and my legs feel like they are going to collapse. I also get out of breath. We actually moved to another house to eliminate a few sets of stairs
Yes. I have to take it slow. My knees are always sore and aching. My sense of balance is slightly off. When going up my stairs, I simetimes crawl to take the edge off. 🙃
