Has anyone had dizziness while sound Asleep? I've had this 3 times now. I'm sleeping and am aware I'm having awful vertigo but when I'm fully awake I'm not dizzy 🥴! It just happens when I'm sleeping. So scary and weird but that's typical of fibro monster 💀 I hate this illness! Thank you. 💜L

Oh No, I had the same issue, 10 years ago, although my fast heart rate gave me so much pain. Everytime, i go to the Er, Urgent Care and Primary they said i was just having a panic attack or my anxiety is acting up (Dx with Anxiety). After numerous visits, I was referred to two heart doctor (cardio and Electrophysiologist).Cardiologist explained his role...He study the structure of my heart. My heart was normal and good. Electro explained his role he study the "wiring" of the heart. After explained my symptoms and he finishing my answer. He said I have a test that u need to take, because It will comfirm..So I took a "Table-TILT Test. I lay on table, strapped in, and hook up to heart monitor, blood pressure cup and the table tilts at all kinds of angles and my vital of being monitor when it reaches the level of feeling fant-ish after couple times, they spray this medicine under tongue and the true theory is confirm=deny. I was dx with POTS (Postural orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrom). Having Fibro with POTS when u have a flare with fatigue and always feeling tired With POTS most days, it s a bad combo.
I hope this looooong response helped and brought some clarity... BTW I see my Electro every 6 months for 3 years str8 and most visits they will suggest moving to once a year, although most visit I properly had a flare or fainted or experience frequent dizzy spells, so bk to
6 month duration😶
Yes I have that dizzy feeling as I’m dozing and going into a deep sleep , feels very strange as don’t suffer from dizziness normally , sleep pattern is awful with this illness 😩
I have discovered that if I have vertigo when I'm awake it usually can be remedied by gentle traction of my neck! It's remarkable how quickly that works for me. Sorry - nothing while sleeping....
I sometimes get that dizzy feeling when I first lay down but then it goes away quickly. When I first read what you said it reminded me when I was a child. I used to have frequent dreams that I was flying and then I would start to fall through the air and I would feel dizzy and grab my stomach. I talked to some of my childhood friends who had similar dreams. I know this is not the same thing but it brought back the memory.
Alright. I have to say, for the first time. Is this candid camera? Really, I have never heard of such a symptom. Ah, I don't know where to begin. Is this possible, to have symptoms, while asleep, and acknowleging it? This must be a dream, and possibly, your in a twilight sleep. Like most of us feel we are asleep, and aware of sounds, pretty much like, we are not in deep sleep, restful sleep, REM. That was the worst part of night, every night for decades. Trying to function at work, and just feel so out of reality. It must be something during this period, you think you're asleep, but you're mostly concious. Vertigo hits me after I lay diwn, I am spinning. But, I am in no way asleep. The spinning feeling is like coming off a ride at Knotts Berry Farm. It wears off fairly quickly. At a lower dosage, now. I have not experienced this phenom. Which tells me, my body, nervous system, I assume was telling me, this is too much. Since I gradually, lowered my dosage, I am not having this issue. I hope this makes sense, and may point you in a direction that you find a way, to stop this. You must be terribly frustrated. Let me know if you want to talk about this Liskayj, if I can help you, I would like to try. Then, you may know how to approach your doctor, if one or medications is causing this symptom. Muliple meds can be uncompatible, or even the strength, for you in particular.
