When I was diagnosed by my rheumatologist he told me (his opinion) that Fibro and ME/CFS were basically the same but on different ends of the spectrum. If pain was more of the complaint then it was Fibro; if fatigue then ME/CFS. Pain was never my main issue…at least to me. My baseline is about a 3-4 with an occaissional 5-6 when my hips/buttock pain wakes me up at night. Muscle and body fatigue has always… read more

i think the exhaustion , sore throat, and like to- some exercise pain when you do not exercise is from mE, slight recovery with weekend bed rest....the fybro muscle pain all over...body ceases up, cannot move at times, feels like you have been hit by a car pain....

now i have it all cf/me and fybro....i say my pain level goes up-9/10 if i do a small task as the dishes, pain reduces to 7/10 with rest....

with a few days of complete rest pain 6/10.

i am still working on to stop the cycles of pain crashing...

i love the gif- looks like whiskers. hang in there...

Yes pain is my worst thing and if I'm stressed or unwell it's unbearable, tiredness can be overwhelming sometimes but not always,I also have gastric issues, sinus, dizziness and I seem to get these things when my pain levels are lower, unless I just noticed them more?! Every single day is something though and can't remember when I last felt well! Pain never goes away just different levels!!

It makes sense to me that it’s all inter-related. Sometimes it’s fatigue, sometimes it’s pain. Most of the time it’s both.
Thank you @A MyFibroTeam Member. I just googled the male clinic definitions of both. Yep, looks like I’ve got both of them 😝😃
