Long story short:

I went for about a year and the only thing happened was I spent A LOT of money on appointments, foods for my “prescribed” diet, “homeopathic remedies”, and supplements. The supplements and remedies were all purchased at her clinic. I mean thousands and thousands of dollars before I smartened up. I know some people swear by it, but this was my experience. I ended up with nothing beneficial. I was promised to be cured. She literally said that in my first appointment. And every time I was not “cured” I was told it was because I needed all new remedies and supplements which cost more money.

I’m a big fan of Curable. Its helped a lot but important to do it everday (I get lazy sometimes and forget…makes a difference). There’s also a great book called “Full Catastrophe Living” by Jon Kabot Zin. Both of these approaches were prescribed by my Rheumatologist. He also recommended Tai Chi or Qi Quong which I havent really tried wholeheartedly yet…too much fatigue. I’m staying away from meds for now. Too many side affects for me. So far, its all been tolerable. Just my “normal”.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, So sorry to hear that. I had the same problem with asking my doc for Tramadol. The only thing that can help with my headches esp. I can't take the migraine meds too often. It's tough.😪

I have been using the Curable app as part of a research study for chronic pain. Some of techniques are useful. It is based on neuroscience/ neuroplasticity.

I actually haven't tried any, but thinking about it. My pain has been out of control with medications. Not really sure what is going on with me. I call it a nightmare!! Sometimes I could use a pain pill, but getting them to prescribe one is really tough these days 😪.. I'm frustrated and confused about it all.
