Question

Question

So is Fibromyalgia considered an autoimmune condition or do most or some of you have an autoimmune condition with it? 🤔

The cause of fibromyalgia keeps changing, as they try to figure it out. I think most of us here have other autoimmune disorders with it. I have had polymyalgia rheumatica ,which is an auto immune disorder. Luckily this one goes into remission. I am pre-diabetic. Diabetes is an autoimmune disease, which most people don’t realize. I also have bronchiectasis which is a lung disease. One of the causes can be autoimmune.

For me personally, I believe Fibomyalgia is an auto-immune disease. It at effects our immune systems and weakens us. About 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease. It was not until 2021 where I was finally diagnosed with Fibomyalgia after years of pain.

Im not sure, but it does seem to make sense that there is a connection. I have an autoimmune disease which i was diagnosed with around 12 years ago and had fibro symptoms around 2015 but only diagnosed last October xx
