Ok, before I ask this, I have been to the ER numerous times for this, so no need to tell me to go. Has anyone had upper body nerve pain in the chest, arm, upper back with an elevated emotion like being startled or frustated? I have been getting this along with some other neurological things. I suffer with Costocondritus, if it's not the pain of the fybromyailgia it's the costocondritus which Taffy 1962 mentioned and it is related to fybromyailgia.
Mine gets so bad I can't move my arm sometimes as all in my shoulder blade hurts at the back and the front of my chest in the sternum really hurts, just breathing in and out hurts on a flare up.
I find Naproxen helps to ease it occasionally.
Big gentle hugs xxx
