Members rallied around someone struggling with nipple irritation from wearing covers under sports bras, offering an abundance of practical solutions including padded sports bras with removable inserts, cotton nursing pads, antifungal cream for moisture-related itching, and udder cream or Vaseline to prevent rubbing and sores. Several members shared specific brand recommendations like Bali bralettes, Genie bras, Knix, Hanes, and True and Co, while others suggested alternatives such as cotton camisoles, undershirts, or double-layered tank tops for those who find traditional bras too painful due to fibromyalgia, costochondritis, or chest wall pain. A recurring theme was the shared frustration of balancing comfort with societal expectations of modesty, with many members expressing solidarity over ditching bras altogether at home and encouraging each other to prioritize their own physical comfort without shame.

I wear sports bras all of the time nowadays that I found to be so comfortable and my nippers don't show I order them and some of them are expensive I have the front snaps and the pull over. I love them I don't have to have the straps digging into my shoulders and FIBROMIAGIA DON'T like regular bras and FIBROMIAGIA DON'T CARE about how you feel you have to find something that works for you I hope this helps.

You can get padded sports bras or you can but the insert pads and stitch into existing bras. The problems us women face πŸ™„. Hope you find some comfort also vaseline stops sores from rubbing πŸ€—

I mean, there are pads and pasties. Personally, though, I free my DDs as often as possible.

Should give cotton nursing pads they have for breastfeeding moms a try. Just slide them inside your sports bra and wash them when you wash your bra. They are a bit expensive to purchase at first, but they last forever and are so soft and provide good nip coverage.

I wear Bali bralettes. I've cut up cotton underpants and light weight terry fabric to make nipple cover inserts. You need a soft breathable fabric. I like the nursing pad idea from a comment. I find the rubbery inserts that come with some bralettes to be very irritating. Many great ideas! This is the place to ask any question. Many wonderful supporters!! Good luck!
