I have been putting off the vaccine due to the fibromyalgia being newly diagnosed last year. Finally I decided to get the Pfizer vaccine. The only symptom I had was a sore arm. And then yesterday I started feeling a flare come along for no reason. And today I had to take off of work because I was in so much pain. My second dose is due December 16. And they say the second dose is worse than the first
I have had 3 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and have severe fibro. I got a fibro flare with the first shot, tired and feeling blah with the 2nd, and the 3rd wasn’t bad at all. In my opinion, it would be much worse to have fibro with Covid than fibro with side effects from the vaccine.
I was hospitalized with severe covid for 2 months. I was told I had 4-6 weeks, alas the doc passed away before me, and I survived.
I couldn't differentiate between Covid-pain and Fibro-pain, and this changed my life.
I left hospital determined to change the way I manage Fibro, with medical support, my Fibro is currently in remission. Drastic changes were made, however Lockdown gave me the space and time to do this slowly, properly, and under medical guidance.
Either a flare up from a vaccination or from acute covid, may be a great time to reevaluate?

Your body is reacting to the antibodies. Talk to your doc. I had Pfizer, then Moderna as my booster. Nothing major happened. Good luck!
Most people i know who have had the Pfizer said they had little to no symptoms and the 2nd dose was much easier. I had the oxford one and was horrendously ill with my 1st dose not to bad with the 2nd and im now booked in for a booster. Hope thst helps and you're feeling better 😊
I had both shots but have had bad pain ever since I took the vax
