I Tested Positive For Covid. Has Anyone Else Had Painful Shivers?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

When I am shivering it feels like hundreds of needles poking me all over. My skin is also hyper sensitive. It’s even painful where my clothes touch me

@A MyFibroTeam Member I think your skin feeling pain to your clothing happens to many of us with Fibro. When you're at home, try wearing your softest clothing, inside out.

However those painful shivers would be from the virus. I like to get into bed with a heating blanket and a few blankets. I usually don't have enough energy to take a warm shower, but maybe that would help you? I haven't had this virus, but over five years ago I had Corona Virus and that gave me those painful shivers you've mentioned.

I just talked with my Dr and apparently this is a Covid symptom. Who would have known. I couldn’t find any literature on it

@A MyFibroTeam Member I've never heard about Allodynia before, do you have a link for more info? Thanks.
