Does Anyone Feel Love Me They Are Losing Muscle
Hi Margi what country are you in ?
The reason why I ask is try a hydropool for exercise it’s amazing,
& it all depends on what country your in if you can get it free obviously if your in the uk like me you can go to your GP & ask for 6 sessions on the NHS to try it out to see if it’s for you ,
It works on the bases of low impact workouts & water at a constant temperature to keep your muscles relaxed whilst working out ,
It’s amazing you can do as much as you want to do or as little as you feel it depends on your boundaries of pain & fitness ,
Learning to cope with our fitness & well being is a hard slog for some with fibro but we are all warriors & we learn by sharing our experiences of how to cope cos there’s not 1 hat that’s fits all in our world cos some can do more then others but one thing we all have in common is when fibro flare ups are at a high we all know how we feel it’s a condition we wouldn’t wish on our worst enemy,
There’s been a lot of us in lockdown lost a lot of muscle mass I should think I’ve gone from a 42 waist down to a 36 waist & my legs are half the size but muscle not like fat as memory so if we catch it before we lose it we can reverse the process,
People don’t realise in lockdown the problems that arise cos with fibromyalgia it’s just a pain thing as we all know it’s much more then that ,
90 symptoms in Britain & 200 in America that says it all ,
I have 146 out of 200 & the full 90 in this country which can be hard when your told that’s not a fibromyalgia symptom but like covid fibromyalgia has no boarders now any prejudice against all we are all Human ,
I had my GP say to me in lockdown Jeff you gotta get out more ,
Easier said then done when I have IBS & every closed even the public toilets padlocked up & no running into pubs or take seats to use the loo so we struggle each day with other things take for granted,
Ive found as well to change my food & drink Habits & find out what good for me & what’s not & ive lost 5stone ive cut down on meds & only use when I need em not take em all the time & become dependent on em I know it’s not going to be for all but if we don’t try we don’t buy ,
So give the hydropool ago .
Stay safe JB x

Yes I have lost muscle mass and have weakness in my hands, arms and legs.
Fibromyalgia symptom can cause weakness and muscle loss.
It takes quite a lot to want to do exercise because it can cause pain, but I am trying to do some exercise as well as walking.
Will be buying an recumbent bike with resistance bands so I can exercise much better. I am hoping that I can gain back some muscle and in my legs and arms.
Unfortunately muscle weakness affects your arms and hands, when trying to open Jars, tin Cans and Packages.
Fibromyalgia has some very horrible symptoms that I am coming to grips with still don't have any confidence in doing exercises on the floor as yet, because at one stage I couldn't get back up from the floor if I fell down and needed assistance to help me back up. So I still don't trust myself that I could get back up on my own if I exercised on the floor.
Sure that you will get many more answers to your question.

Thanks for the advice I live in Australia and not sure about if I can get to do hydropool exercises, to tell you the truth I don't even own a pair of Swimming Costumes because I get so embarrassed about my body to even put one on.
Guess I have lost all confidence in myself with in regards to putting on a bathing suit.
Many Blessings to You have a Wonderful Day hope that you have a less pain day. 🌹
Yes!
I have definitely lost a lot of muscle. I used to weight train almost daily at the gym, but for years now I have not been able to exercise due to pain and I have lost the muscle I have built up.
