I've had some dizziness and headaches off and on for about a year now but it's really gotten bad in the past week and a half or so.. Medication tolerance or withdrawal can cause your symptoms also. If you take SSRI, benzodiazepines, gabapentin etc. when the body gets used to it you might experience tolerance symptoms (what you describe). Anxiety, panic attacks, GAD causes the same (chronic subjective dizziness). Yes, Tmj too, but I doubt it in your case. Emotional processing and vestibular processing apparently is going on in the same brain area. Vestibular exercises, meditation, diazepam (short term only) might improve your condition. Vestibular migraine, see if you have pre-dome symptoms, (aura for instance). Lot to consider.
I had 4 years of constant dizziness (not vertigo), finally it stopped. No treatment helped. Just time. I am pretty sure vestibular exercises can be very helpful (depending on your diagnosis). Hope you feel better soon!

I'm So sorry ur suffering with this! Out of ALL the horrible symptoms this Horrible illness has to offer š¬ dizziness/vertigo is the WORST surpassing Insomnia!! And Yes I've had this and it's Awful! I get that woozy dizzy feeling too. Sometimes it feels strange to walk. Then it goes away. I have TMJ too but no one can agree what causes this. Update: an ENT diagnosed me with chronic vestibular migraines. I am relieved to have an answer after suffering for so long, but worried about how this is going to continue to impact my life going forward. Thank you to all who have offered me advice- it really means alot to me.
