It all started with a feeling of fullness and pressure in my ears about a year ago. I had a small amount of dizziness every once in a while but nothing crazy. Went to an ENT and he said my ears looked fine. Fast forward to the past couple months and I've had dizziness almost every single day. It seems to always start around the same time of day, a couple hours after I get up and peaks in the late afternoon before slowly decreasing before bed. I thought maybe it was from the medicine I was on⦠read more
Update: ENT has diagnosed me with daily vestibular migraines. We are going to start with magnesium and B2 supplements and see how im feeling in a month. Its such a relief to finally have an answer
I take meclazine for dizziness and that really helps. I also started Aimovig self injections once a month for migraines, which is now every 2 weeks because they are so bad. I have not had a day without a headache for years and years. I still do botox as well every 3 months. I couldn't take any of the triptan migraine meds. So maybe this will help or give you things to ask your Dr about.
I have the same issues and I had good MRIs. Since Fibro messes with your nevers and how they respond, it can cause all the symptoms you mentioned (and more). Sarting on 9/11/16, I have had headaches everyday and frequent migraines. The migraines with the pressure in my head/ears are the worst. I think about sticking a needle in my head to pop it! I used to go to the doctors all the time and tell them to fix my sinuses (because of all the pressure I thought I had a sinus problem). I was always told my sinues were good. When I had a MRI with contrast, it prooved my doctors right .... nothing wrong with my sinuses. Unfortunately all the migraine meds have failed to stop the daily headaches and will only work on 2 of the 3 migraines I get. There is no relief for the one with the pressure (which is the worst). I had 6 weeks off of work for a sugery and I thought for sure the headaches would lighten up, but they didn't. Try not to stress yourself out, as it is most likely the vestibular migraines you are experiencing. If you ever find relief from them, please contact me at (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) and let me know. Maybe it is something I had not tried. Praying for relief for you. God Bless!
I am adding this to my list to discuss with my rheumatologist as one of my issues. My ears get full and pop or not. I thought it was allergy-related sinus pressure. My nose is never stuffy. Maybe it's Sjogrens starting up?
Yes as i mentioned though my appt with neuro is not until oct 21
