Members rallied around someone experiencing a nine-day fibromyalgia flare with severe, widespread pain, sharing solidarity and stories of their own difficult flares that lasted anywhere from weeks to over a month. Several members described practical treatments that brought relief, including physical therapy with muscle stretching and acupuncture, dry needling between the shoulder and neck, heat therapy, TENS machines, and in some cases simply rest and pain management while waiting for the flare to pass. A recurring theme was the debilitating nature of fibro flares affecting daily life, the importance of having supportive caregivers during the worst days, and the shared experience of radiating arm pain from shoulders to fingertips that many members recognized and validated in one another.

Gosh Jeeba, thats awful! That’s how I felt. And yes I do have pain in my arms from the tips of my fingers to the top of my shoulders. When I raise my arms, the tops of my shoulders hurt. Thank you for your prayers.🙏❤️

Glad you feeling better. I have the same issues, it will get better for a couple of days and then it comes back.

UI hope you feel better soon. It is not nice at all. I am just coming out of a flare that lasted 4 weeks. It affected my jaws, it hurt to speak at lengths, neck , squeezing sensation around my neck,
Spasms, shoulders, arm and hand. Waking up with flashing lights when I opened my eyes in the morning, light headed and headaches,
I was struggling and went back to physio, for last 3 weeks. My Physio therapist did muscle stretching on my neck. Acupuncture, plus dry needling in between my shoulder and neck. Along with heat and tens machine.
Treatments seemed to have helped or my flare is finally settling.
Feel better soon
