Foot Pain Or Neuropathy?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

About a month ago I noticed that my feet started hurting and when I say hurting I am not kidding. They feel like I have broken the tops and the bottoms of them. They hurt to put shoes on and I am not diabetic. I have never had so much pain in my feet. And they itch and I just want to take them off at the ankle!!

@A MyFibroTeam Member If your feet are feeling "wierd" in the balls, see a good podiatrist. Maybe you already have? I had a neuroma in the ball of one foot and he took care of it.

Neuropathy is bilateral . There are a hundred different kinds , the most common type is called “ sock and glove “ in layman’s terms as it affects feet and calves and hands and lower arms .

My feet hurt after I've been up on them for a while and forget about wearing any kind of shoe besides a sandal for me. My right foot hurts all the time on the top. My DR. Says it has to do with fibro. I am on all the medications that they would put you on for neuropathy. The weather doesn't help either specially when its gonna rain. I put heat on them. Heat helps me. But when they hurt so bad sometimes I use ice and elevate them with a tremadol. Hope you feel better. Hugs and Prayers
