@A MyFibroTeam Member Picture was taken this autumn. I'm 79 years old and don't have much white hair. Mother was 90 when she passed away and perhaps 1/4 of her hair was white. The rest was brown, like mine so I must have inherited her genes. I do take an OTC supplement Natures Bounty "Hair Skin & Nails" now which helps with hair growth. The "back hair" goes down to my waist. When I go shopping and hubby is with me, I often go on Seniors Discount Day. When I take the cash or credit card out to pay I have been told a LOT that if I let my dad pay, we'd get the Seniors discount which gives me a good laugh. I always tell them my age and show identification which proves I'm an "elderly" senior. I'll be 80 this coming July, God willin' and the creek don't rise.

My itching started in my armpits and now it has spread to my legs and arms. I think it is related to fibromyalgia or possibly neuropathy

I was noticing dry skin, dry eyes, dry mouth, dry hair. I have had Fibromyalgia for over 20 years. My GP ran tests to rule out other problems, but it appears menopause can be the root cause for these changes. I am having balance problems, and challenges walking, as well as difficulty recalling specific names/events. Looks like more tests and physical therapy ahead. A neurologist is now trying to help me recover balance and examining lesions which have developed in my brain which are making recall more challenging.

Keep a list of your observations - because Fibromyalgia can hide neurological issues and other conditions. Your doctor would rather know all the changes you encounter as when we don’t, little stuff can become bigger stuff.

It could be a dry scalp and needs moisture and also minerals. Experiencing the exact same thing. Plus stress makes it unbearable.
