Headaches And Blurry Vision
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I can’t tell if I’m experiencing migraines or just headaches from Fibro. I’ve had this on and off through the years but over the last two days I had what I think is a silent migraine. No pain just aura, but then a headache hits. Feels like a tension headache but I can’t focus on reading or feel
Like I can’t focus. Anyone else? My shoulders are in also tons of pain into my arms and middle back.

I used to get those migraines...the aura starts first...and neck shoulder tension...tons of pain in arms and back could be Costeochrondritis, a lot of us get that🤗🤗🤗

@A MyFibroTeam Member the aura lasted about 30 minutes weird squiggly lines and unable to make out words on my phone. A tension type headache followed. and yes I definitely have light sensitivity.

@A MyFibroTeam Member i should have added I'm almost certain mine get triggered by bright light. Do you find you have a trigger for yours?

This is part of my worst symptoms. I have horrible shoulder neck and upper back pain that affects my arms and head and Tmj. I thought mine were all !migraines only to find out it was tension co!ing from my upper back and shoulders. I get them a lot. I also realized all of my migraines always had aura. But the symptoms of these tension headaches are similar to my migraines. I try to use heating pad and light massage if I can though usually too sensitive and that is when I go for my muscle relaxer, lidocaine ointment and a nap. Throw in some Tylenol and it helps usually but not 100%. Sitting and standing make it worse and laying down hurts unless I get in the right position. Makes me mad because I can't read or write when I have them bad. so I listen to audio books and podcasts. Gentle hugs
