Ladies, Your Period....
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

You ladies still experiencing menstrual cycles, can you say that your fibro symptoms are worse before or during your period? I know our hormones have an anti inflammatory effect on the brain. I wonder if hormones can help us.

Thank goodness you’ve brought this up because I feel worst before, during and after period. It’s really difficult to have a routine and concentration is very poor. I thought this isn’t normal for someone like us with fibro and I always very tired these days. Even my dietary supplements don’t kick in anymore. Just hoping, I can fix my brain to be pain free so I can have control over my life again. So far, I’m learning to adopt whenever possible and pace myself. Flare ups aren’t fun at all. Stay strong everyone 💜

I always feel worse around that time too! Emotions are all over the place and definitely in more pain for sure. Plus stress goes through the roof!
