I get this sensation on the right side of my mouth, including the back part of my tongue, my gums, sometimes my throat. It can be described as my tongue feels too big, like there is something on it like a bit of food, and sometimes like a dry cat tongue. It is normally not painful, just extremely bothersome. Does anyone else have anything similar? It has been over 3 months for me now with this.
My tongue malfunctions and slightly swells when I have been exposed to gluten. Makes it hard to speak sometimes. The bizarre world of Fibromyalgia!
@A MyFibroTeam Member, I have burning tongue syndrome too but I’m lactose intolerant.....so I eat frozen grapes. It’s almost like eating popsicles but with out all the sugar and chemicals
It's called burnt tongue syndrome. It's horrible! Icecream is the only thing that makes my mouth feel better.
I have this same problem daily and it's making me feel crazy . My tongue feels too big for my mouth. I stress over the position of it and my teeth so much that my teeth, jaw, amd mouth hurt . :( thanks for letting me know I'm not alone
@A MyFibroTeam Member, the ear pain could be from TMJ
Does Anyone Experience Burning Sensations On Their Tongue. Mine Are Strong But They Come And Go.
