Lower Back And Hips
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Lately my lower back into the back upper portion of my hips is hurting continually. Sometimes it burns, but most of the time just aches. This is a new one for me. My back has not been a troublesome area, and my upper back is fine. Is lower back and upper hip pain common for anyone? Thanks.

Backache and pain in my hips is a new problem for me. After bone density was done this year it showed a significant amount of bone density loss in my vertebrae and both neck of the femurs. I am trying more exercise as in walking and cycling. At this stage the muscle pain is the worst. With cold weather I can actually feel the skeletal pain.

I get this as.well. there are two trigger points on my hips that are always painful even on what I consider good days. Massage helps me. Seems to loosen the tight muscles. Also CBD oil rubbed on my hips and lower back help. Make sure you get high quality CBD oil as not all brands are created equal.

I have this too... thankfully not as consistent now I don’t work and not sitting all day. Tens machine works for me... some times flattened the batteries when it’s bad that works til I can see me chiropractor and she gives me dry needling in the area. Yoga stretches have helped with heat pad but only if I do it at the first sign. I recommend dry needling like acupuncture for neck to glut pain

I have constant lower back hip pain. Its what wakes me up in the morning and impedes my sleep at night. I agree a heating pad and or ice packs along with meds to numb the pain.
