Members shared deeply relatable experiences about how fibromyalgia affects their hands and feet, with many describing persistent pain on the soles of their feet (especially when walking or standing), intense cold sensations, numbness, tingling, and stiffness that often worsens at night. Several members offered practical strategies including rolling feet over a tennis ball for relief, using hot water bottles to ease burning sensations, and getting tested for small fiber neuropathy when numbness becomes severe. A recurring theme was the frustration of explaining foot pain to others when you haven't been active and the challenge of managing constant cold extremities that feel like they've been in ice.

Feet pain all the damn time. Its annoying to say to people that your feet hurt when you haven’t walked much all day 😩

My hands and feet are very painful all the time. The only way i can describe it is if you can imagine metal rods entering the tips of your fingers then travelling straight up to your wrists. The same with my feet. Find it worse of a night. A hot water bottle helps alot as id rather the burning feeling

Try rolling your foot over a tennis ball the next time your feet are sore.
