Does anyone find that exercise starts a flare up.
Seems to be a trigger. Really need to find a way around it as my medication has made me put on weight.

Members confirmed that exercise can trigger fibromyalgia flare-ups, with the overwhelming consensus being that walking at a gentle pace is often the only activity their bodies can handle without causing days or weeks of severe pain afterward. Several members shared strategies that work for them, including light stretching, chair exercises, yoga in short bursts, water aerobics in warm pools, and the ketogenic diet (one member lost 58 pounds and felt significantly better). A recurring theme was the delicate balance of needing movement to manage pain while avoiding overdoing it, with many expressing determination to stay gently active rather than giving in to the condition completely.

Helen, water aerobics are the only exercising that I can do. The problem is, finding a pool warm enough for me to use.
