Having fibro does it make us mor at risk for the corona virus?

From the information I've read, having fibro shouldn't increase your chances of getting the corona virus but it may increase the chances of it being a more severe case as with any pre-existing condition. Having fibro may actually help us limit our exposure to the disease since we tend to stay home more because we don't feel good.

I don’t think so..that being said, aching from the virus could be more pronounced.

If you are on an Immunosuppressant, which was initially reserved for transplant patients, so as not to have the new organ seen as an enemy and be rejected by white blood cells. It has greatly reduced my immune system over the years. I’ve developed shingles and other things due to lowered immunity. But it works for my autoimmune symptoms, as it eliminates the inflammation in my body that made me deathly ill prior to this medication. So yes, the regimen of meds you are on can make you very susceptible to an attack from the dreaded virus.
