If they are effective, what is better, patches or the cream?
I've been using the Lidocaine Patches for almost two years now, I was prescribed them by my pain consultant during a long stay in hospital. I do find the useful but I have problems getting them to stay on as I don't find them very sticky, but during my stay in hospital July & August one of the nursing staff suggested a tegaderm dressing over the lidocaine patch which I find works well in keeping it in place.
I use the patches and they seem to work well hope they help you😺
Haven’t tried it yet but my rheumatologist told me to get the roll on for my fibromyalgia
Lidocaine Pain Patches: Definitely YES, very helpful for pain in a specific area. First obtained from my doctor, but they are now available OTC (Lydocaine 4%, smaller amount than prescription patch). Remove after 8 hour application. After years of use, I haven’t noticed any bad side affects. Pain pills definitely constipate me. Agree, these can be difficult to keep on and usually need tape or something to keep them in place.
I have never tried the cream.
Helps some. My CBD ointment works the best.
