The pain does move about and I tell myself it may be arthritis and not Fibromyalgia.
I don't like the diagnosis, no one has any patience with it AND it doesn't kill you

A woman in hospital transport who told me I wasn't eligible said " lots of people here have fibromyalgia and THEY WORK!!!"
I have macro degeneration and needed collecting and taking home because I was having an injection in my eye and can't drive either.
I have a blue badge and she told me to use that!!
Unfortunately, my chauffeur, my husband, died 5 weeks ago so I no longer have that option
I suppose she found that annoying as well
I am so glad I am able to fight my own corner but I do wonder how other people who can't stand up to bullies deal with people like her😒

Sounds like fibro to me. I deal w alot of that same stuff and so do others on this site

I can honestly say your list of symptoms is eerily similar to mine. I could almost copy and paste your list for myself. My diagnosis came when the dr had tested me for everything she could think of and nothing was found to explain the symptoms. Its a diagnosis that comes when other diseases/conditions that can cause the same symptoms are ruled out. I relate so much to you as well on the thoracic pain and rib pain. Always one of the worst symptoms for me.

I am sorry, that doctor was stupid as any I ever heard of. I know a man who has this condition and there are some on here as well. It is not a sexist illness LOL. The pain between my shoulder blades is always my worst. I get trigger point injections with lidcaine and it helps. I can't get them as frequently as I used to due to money. but that is my worst spot usually and my shoulders and neck. The rest of me hurts and I have a lot of bad ouchie spots, but that is where mine started and still is the most dominant of all of my pains.
