Does anyone have flare ups after flying? How to void them? How long do flare ups last? Do acupuncture help?

Yes ma'am... It's the worse especially if it's a not so sell flight. Not sure what the correct thing to do to make it better... I double up on my muscle relaxers or antianxiety meds. Helps me relax. I think the altitude is a killer as well as that air we have to breath on the plane.

How did that go? It was a while ago but you had to give up your doggie. I hope you got another for you.

I'm worried about this too. I'm flying to Georgia to see my youngest daughter. I'm bringing my yorkie as an emotional support animal. I hope she is not going to add too much stress. I have to bring her she won't let anybody else do anything for her. Sometimes she gets (cray cray) she gets very anxious. Lol that's what my daughter and I call her. I only have 4 days to visit 2 of them are pretty much travel days. It is just two weeks away. Hope I don't have too much pain so I can visit with her been 3 years since I have seen her. She is getting me a hotel room so I will have some alone time. Gentle hugs to everyone

I flew recently with my fibro and it did affect me. I had a very bad muscle spasm after we got to our destination. Flying was stressful which is definitely not good for fibro. I took my amyitriptyline and slept for 12 hrs. After that, I was ok but I had to pace myself concerning activities.
