Members connected over experiencing unexplained heart palpitations and elevated heart rates, with many sharing that medical tests came back normal despite resting heart rates jumping from the 60s-70s into the 90s-110s range. Several members mentioned that POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and other forms of dysautonomia are commonly associated with fibromyalgia, with triggers including standing up, eating, drinking water, stress, weather changes, and infections like pneumonia. A recurring theme was the reassurance that while these symptoms are frightening and annoying, they are often benign, with many finding relief through low-dose beta blockers, dietary changes, and simply knowing they are not alone in this experience.

That's good news. Gives the rest of us hope. I'm taking a beta blocker in the morning and one at night. It worked up until this morning. When I got up it galloped off again. 2 hours later I'm feeling better. Heavy rain in UK. Do you think the weather has something to do with it.?

POTS is common with fibro. It is a form of dysautonomia. Look up Annie Hopper DNRS program. This woman cured herself of chemical sensitivity and electric hypersensitivity and went on to help others as well.
