Does this diagnosis go along with Fibro? One dr diagnosed Fibro but In 2010 I was given Levaquin for “possible” pneumonia. That is when the small fiber neuropathy started in my toes and since then has progressed to my entire body! I also deal with three other types of nerve pain. Peripheral neuropathy, and carpel tunnel in my right wrist and a stinging nerve pain that stings like if you put your tongue on a 9 volt battery. I am also dealing with osteoarthritis in my shoulders, spine and knees… read more
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia many years ago. I always felt as though it was a catch all for when the Drs didn’t know what it was they would say It was fibro. It was poo pooped on for so many years no one took you seriously. It’s so much pain and fatigue that people just don’t understand.
I also have small fiber neuropathy in my feet. It started in my toes it’s so painful to walk I’m always tired I could sleep then I can’t sleep it’s crazy. Muscle spasms come out of nowhere it makes no sense. Someone said it right if you say lupus or some other disease everyone gives you support but fibro they tend not to just kind to look at you.
Support each other!
I was prescribed Levaquin several years ago. After a week I noticed my Achilles’ tendon was so sore I could hardly walk, much less wear shoes! Looked up side effects, and this is one of the bad ones! I now have it on my list of meds I am allergic to.
Yes it does go with Fibro I am sure. As I understand it all sorts of mix go in to make a fibro diagnosis.
Thank you BrendaHuntLewis
