Just wondering if others of you have this and if so--what works to deal with it. For the last month or so, I've been getting bad cases of vertigo especially if I turn my neck too fast and it was stiff to begin with (which is almost daily). I see my dr next month for my regular checkup so I did some checking on my own and seems that vertigo can be caused by the trigger points in your neck when you have lots of pain there. So this is another new 'gift' from my fibro . Any ideas?
Actually--I had something like this before but never got the dizziness from it. What works best for me is adding digestive enzymes to my diet. I'm on proton pump inhibitors as well for the GERD but I still have breakthrough reflux occasionally.
Thanks gang--but found out it wasn't my neck but my STOMACH. The nerve that controls your stomach and gets riled up with GERD is right next to the nerve that controls your heart and goes to the balance center. Thus the chest pains with reflux or in this case, dizziness with mild reflux episode. So wasn't fibro related at all but because of my stupid Gerd
Hi Dixie, wow, I am glad you know the cause, is the doctor helping you with medication or operation
Hello Dixie, please let us know if your symptoms improved. Thank you for sharing!
Oh my dear, wish I could help, I know the feeling, that's why I don't drive much or go out with friends, friends that understand come and visit, but Stugeron helps a bit, too make it happen less. Don't know if you get Stugeron by you? Maybe go and see you're ENT and ask him/her about it, here in South Africa you can buy it over the counter.
Hope this will soon pass!
Praying for you, have a Blessed day!
