Members overwhelmingly confirmed that breast tenderness beginning up to two weeks before a period is a common and normal experience, attributing it to hormonal fluctuations and often fibrocystic breast tissue. Several members shared that the pain can be particularly intense for those with fibromyalgia, with one suggesting a sleep bra from Amazon as a helpful tool for nighttime relief. A recurring theme was reassurance that this cyclical breast pain is a typical part of PMS, even persisting in some cases after periods have stopped due to treatments or menopause.

I believe this is a common occurrence attributed to hormonal changes that occur naturally during the month.
I do have fibrocystic breasts, which have always been sore, but worse b4 period.

Yes had it for a long time but since having fibro it's much worse. I use a sleep bra at night which seems to help. You can buy them on Amazon

Oh yeah! Since I was a teen. I think this is normal cyclical pain. Usually fibrocystic tissue does this. Which I have.
