They changed my trial and did not tell me they changed it until yesterday. I can’t ignore this. They canceled my surgery because the sales rep was not going to be there. “He’s going to be on the beach and they can put them in and program them in their sleep” says the scheduler when I told her a rep is not a doctor and I will not consent to that. I can’t ignore this information.

I had to focus on my back pain. It was quite severe, requiring injections and strong medications. My representative programed the stimulator. He also helped troubleshoot it when I had trouble.
Hello Ladies, I also have a stimulator for 2 years it does hide your pain. It's a good back up plan for PAIN> The representative has to help adjust u & device to receive the best results. They r always available to u. ALL the best !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you soo much Margaret!!! Which pain did you target with the device, specifically? Did you read the article? What are your thoughts about my representative operating the device and not my doctor?
I have a spinal cord stimulator. I love mine. I use it a lot. I can’t remember what it was like before the stimulator. I am still able to work and I am an ICU nurse. If you have questions, let me know.
There are so many great answers. Thank you all for jumping in and helping your fellow fibro buddies. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia over 15 years ago but the rheumatologist never mentioned medications to my then primary physician. I have since started seeing a new dr and because there was no official diagnosis in my med chart she sent me to another rheumatologist and when it came back that I did have fibromyalgia my pcp immediately started me on gabapentin. I am still learning a lot about fibro and I am constantly being diagnosed with other symptoms of fibro like peripheral neuropathy and other things I'm still being tested for.
