What Do You Do Fro Your Whole Body Spasms?

What Do You Do Fro Your Whole Body Spasms?

Yesterday i had a spasm from my neck, down my back, and into my leg, it lasted for over an hour. Spasm finally stopped. Today no spasms but my back is painful to move. Ive tried, heat, ice, stretching, musle relaxers, epsom salt bath, nothing is improving back pain and stiffness. I have to go yo work tomorrow and cant take any more muscle relaxers. What have you tried that works?

Have had excruciating, debilitating muscle cramps/spasms/Charlie horses for years! Doctors look at me as if I said nothing for years about them. I can't take muscle relaxers it causes me to be even more fatigued and weak. I feel like they always happen when I am in motion, ie swimming, rolling over in bed, laughing. Rarely, they happen with no movement. Walking or continue to move helps them stop...stretching, focus on moving another part of your body sometimes tricks your brain and it makes it stop. When they are bad, I also have soreness in the muscle that spasmed 2 days later that lasts 1 to 3 days. Yay, more pain! My hands cramp up too. It is rough. My heart goes out to you. Wish I had more advise, for us both!

I think your back will start feeling better in another day or so. Your back is sore from the spasms. That's how I feel after a little flare up. If you absoultly can't take anymore medication for this. try the muscle cream of your choice. Everyone is different in what works for 1. It's all fibro. Hope you do feel better. Hugs and Prayers

Sounds like you have tried everything I would try. I get spasms constantly everywhere. I take a muscle relaxer every day along with my other medications and heating pads and lidocaine lotion. Maybe try the lidocaine creams. They help when my muscles are hurting from a spasm after the spasm has ended. I get mine through a prescription but you can buy it over the counter as well.
