I had the same problem because of all the pain medications. I have finally found the cure. I take one capsule of Miralax every night, one magnesium, and I Ducolax. About every three days I take 2 Ducolax. I have tried everything and this keeps things moving. The key is never skip the daily dose of Miralax. My management doctor gave me some prescription medication but it was to strong for me.

I’m sorry you’re struggling. Did you know that it adds to depression. I pray you find this helps. Sending gentle hugs.

Pam❤️🙏❤️🙏

Once a day I have a cup of Natural Calm which is powdered magnesium dissolved in hot water. At night I take a Jamieson's Magnesium Night which is a combination of magnesium and melatonin.

Try eating a small bowl of red cherries (about 15 to 20), each day. See if this helps. I tried some cherries a few days, ago. It is amazing! One has to experience for themselves. *Cherries also have a natural sweetness, without having to intake sugar or artificial sweeteners. Just make sure you are covered with plenty of napkins or paper towels! They have a lot of red juice that can "squirt out." So don't wear anything you would want to keep. One doesn't need to drink more than a swallow of water. It is already in the fruit.

I take Miramax daily or I don't go for a week. I had part of my colon removed from diverticulitis because it swelled so bad that it twisted. My pain doctor told me to take it and it really works good.
