Tongue

Tongue

Does anybody ever feel like your tongue is too big for your mouth? Or that it is rubbing against your teeth in a strange new way and you may bite it? I have pain in my mouth and in my tongue on occasion. But this is a new one for me.

It’s called Geographic tongue😢. I figured it out while researching the symptoms and AFTER 2 tongue biopsies for what Drs. thought was tongue cancer. Hang in there! Xo

Yes that’s exactly what’s going on with me. I too have mentioned this to my dentist several years ago and was also blown off. The sides of my tongue rub against the rear teeth. It’s just uncomfortable, takes up too much space in my mouth. Had a CT scan about 3 weeks ago looking for other things and the report said the base of my tongue had thickened since 2009 and 2013 scans. Also being tested for Sjogren’s and don’t know if there’s any relation there?
