Most of my patients have PCOS but You may have a couple of things going on here
Some GPs dont even know what PCOS is!!
You can have elevated androgens without PCOS. But if your hair parting is getting wider then you need to have serum iron checked and as the previous poster mentioned, your thyroid checked.
I would also take a look at your medication and side effects
Not everything is Fibromyalgia. I think people can get a bit bogged down with is it or isn't it FM

Have you had your thyroid checked lately, hair loss is a symptom of hypothyroidism

Hair loss can be serum iron deficiency so the first thing you need is a blood test

ah, Nexium is a proton inhibitor but there are other types of meds for acid/reflux, & few other meds also cause hair loss. & my kitten could be your offspring - she is 9mths old...

yes I have had signicant hairloss from meds for too much acid in stomach- _ I forget the term for all of them- brain fog!! but they are mailnly for reflux, but interestingly now I have lost 10kgs in 6mths - unknown cause, I don't have reflux anymore but still taking Nexium for indigestion. good luck...
